足立研究室所属を希望する方へ
私自身は、国際政治理論を専門としていますので、国際関係の諸現象を、理論的に分析したいと考えている学生を歓迎します。
また、カナダ、アメリカなどでの研究経験があるせいか、アジア太平洋地域に関心をもつ学生も多いゼミです。
留学生が少なくないため、ゼミでは日本語、英語両言語で議論に参加できることが望ましいです。
基本的には、博士前期課程（修士課程）の学生しか受け入れていませんが、まれに後期課程学生も受け入れています。
研究者志望の学生で、後期課程で本研究室に所属することを希望する方は、早めに相談してください。
3年で確実に博士論文を書き上げることが可能な研究能力と具体的な研究計画があり、
博士号取得後、職を得るまで5から10年間の生活費を賄うことが可能で、
そうした厳しい環境でも研究を続ける強い意志のある学生でないと、後期課程進学はお勧めできません。
About this Advanced Seminar(MA) / Thesis Guidance Seminar (Ph.D)
I specialize in theories of International Politics. Applying these theories to cases in the field of international security, I am examining the factors that can promote international cooperation. The role of non-state actors in IR is also of my research interest. In addition, I have been working on the international relations in Asia-Pacific, such as East Asia, US-Japan, and Canada-Japan relationships.
If you are interested in theories of International Politics and /or International Relations of Asia-Pacific, this is one of the seminars where you can pursue your research interest.
I do not accept many doctoral students. If you are plannning to apply for doctoral program (under my supervision), please consult me for advise on your research proposal in advance.
